Chamber names annual award finalists

visalia – Each year the Visalia Chamber of Commerce honors those businesses and individuals who consistently go above and beyond to support our community.
This year, dozens of businesses and individuals have been nominated for these prestigious awards. The business categories include; Small, Medium, Large Business of the Year and Non-Profit of the Year. The 2017 finalists are:
• Small Business Nominees: The Planing Mill Artisan Pizza, Mache
• Medium Business Nominees: Cal Water, Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group
• Large Business Nominees: Buckman-Mitchel Inc., Bueno Beverage Company, Kawneer, Quail Park
• Non-Profit of the Year Nominees: Central Valley Recovery Services Inc., Happy Trails Riding Academy, Habitat for Humanity of Tulare/Kings County, Hands in the Community
Winners will be announced at the 64th Annual Awards Celebration presented by the Visalia Chamber of Commerce on June 8, 2017 at the Visalia Convention Center. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails begin at 6 p.m. followed by a formal dinner at 6:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Annual Awards Chairman, Karen Gross remarked, “Our committee has a daunting task ahead of us. Choosing one winner from each category is going to be difficult as there are many nominees that are deserving and contribute to our community in so many ways.”
Tickets for the Annual Awards Celebration are $75 or you may reserve a table for $600 and can be purchased at the Visalia Chamber of Commerce located at 222 N. Garden Street, Suite 300 or online at www.visaliachamber.org.
