Youth girl basketball players will have opportunity to try out for age-specific Cal Storm teams
SAN LUIS OBISBO – If your daughter has a desire to play basketball and is younger than a senior in high school then why not have her try out for one of the top programs in the state.
Cal Storm kicked off the new year by announcing that they will be coming to the central region of California. All athletes from Tulare, Kern, Kings, Fresno, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara counties will be able to try out for age specific teams. Cal Storm will hold tryouts starting in February at various gymnasiums throughout San Luis Obispo, and Fresno County.
The age division are as followed: 10U, 11U, 13U, 14U, and high school teams. If an athlete is selected to participate, weekly practices and skills clinics will be held afterward.

Cal Storm was founded in 1997 and enjoyed prominent success shortly thereafter becoming just one of 32 elite Nike sponsored club basketball programs in the United States in 1998. They won the 2014 EYBL National Championship. Last year Cal Storm represented the Western Regionals at the Jr. NBA World Championships at Disney World, with games shown live on Fox network television.
