Spartans induct members to Hall of Fame
Strathmore is holding their annual hall of fame induction dinner on Saturday, May 27. It will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. Strathmore High School will induct Brant Bramer, Larry Crawford, Jakob Duffin, Ben Gartung, Rob Gregor, Shawn Satterfield, and honoring Miguel Guajardo. Tickets are available at Strathmore High School and Harmony Magnet Academy. The price is $35.

‘Train Like a Monarch’ volleyball camp
Exeter Monarchs’ coaches Samantha Hilvers, Kathryn Hutcheson, and Elisha Sandoval, along with others, are gearing up for the “Train Like a Monarch” camp. The camp will run from June 12 to 15. There will be two sessions for players of any skill level. The first session will be for students entering third and sixth grade and will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Session two will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run until 1:30 p.m. Both sessions will offer three versus three and six versus six tournaments. Applications are due by June 2, and there is a fee of $65, or $75 after June 2.

Registration for McDermont youth program
McDermont Field House has opened up registration for their youth volleyball programs. There will be two skill levels offered. K-5th grade will be doing a volleytotz program while there will be an evaluation on June 8th at 6 p.m. for the majors program. Games will begin in July and are scheduled to be played on Saturdays. Sign-ups end on June 8th and there is a fee of $60. Coaches are also needed. There is a coaches meeting scheduled for June 8th at 7:30 p.m.

City of Exeter to put on Tennis Camp
Exeter Union High School’s coach Donny Jones and the City of Exeter Community Services are paring up for a summer tennis camp. The camp will run for three days from June 13 until 15 and will be held from 9:30 am till 11:30 am. Any boys or girls from ages eight and older are encouraged to attend. Kids will learn the fundamentals of the game as well as basic skills needed to be successful. The camp is $20 and will be held at Exeter Tennis Courts. Kids can bring their own rackets or rackets will be available. For more information parents can call Exeter Community Services at 592-5262 or Coach Jones at 916-283-1458.

Exeter Youth League Registration
On Mondays through July 12 kindergartners through eighth graders can register for the Exeter Youth Football League. It will take place each Monday at VIP Pizza in downtown from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. There is a $135 fee, which includes a camp. All participates must be registered for K-8 for the 2017-2018 school year.
