Exeter Little League in now seeking Board members for the 2014 season.

13th Annual Golf Tournament Date Set

The Knights of Columbus will be having their annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the beautiful River Island Country Club.

Check in begins at 8 a.m. with shotgun starting at 10 a.m..

This is a four person scramble format with entry fees set at $100 per person which includes green fees, cart, and a tri-tip lunch.

Faggart Buick will be giving away a new car for a hole in one.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Catholic and community charities.

Sequoia Crush holding Volleyball tryouts

The Sequoia Crush Club volleyball team will be holding tryouts on Nov. 4, 5 and 6 from 6 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. for ages 14 and 12.

Ages 18 and 16 will also be able to tryout with tryout dates on Nov. 4, 5, 6, 11 and 13 from 7:45 p.m. until 9 p.m..

All tryouts will be held at the Tulare County Fairgrounds at 215 Martin Luther King Jr. in Tulare.

There will also be a parent meeting for all levels on Monday, Nov. 4 from 7:20 p.m. until 7:40 p.m.

Central Cal Bombshells hold softball tryouts

Central Cal Bombshells 16u will be holding tryouts on Sundays from 2 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Golden West High School in Visalia.

Exeter Community Recreation department seeks sign ups

The City of Exeter’s Park and Recreation Department is now accepting registration for the 2014 Youth Basketball and Buddy Basketball programs.

Registration fees are set at $40 if paid before Nov. 29. After Nov. 29 the fee goes up to $50.

Boys and girls are encouraged to participate. Games will be played on Saturdays with one practice during the week.

The season is tentatively set to begin Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014.

SoCal Juniors Volleyball Club hosts tryouts

So. Cal Jrs. Volleyball Club seeking players for its 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U teams. SCJVC is an elite training program for athletes wanting to improve their volleyball skill set.
