Robert “Bobby” Lee Sather
Robert “Bobby” Lee Sather, 70, of Visalia, Calif. passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 in Hanford, Calif. surrounded by his loving family.
Bobby was born in Denver, Colorado on Nov. 21, 1946 to Lloyd Norbert Sather, Sr., and Margaret Frances Hill Sather. He was raised in Denver until high school, when he moved to California. He graduated from Tennyson High school in Hayward, California in 1964.
Bobby married Linda Marie Ball on Aug. 21, 1968 and they have made their home in Visalia since 2000.
He and Linda were faithful members of the Exeter United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the VFW and The American Legion. Bobby worked in the trucking industry for over 30 years. He retired in 2000. His hobbies included carpentry, word working (making game boards), gardening and playing board games.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Linda; three children – Cindy Sather-Reale and husband Michael, Clayson Sather and wife, Kristin and Crystal Sather and husband Robert; several grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Leroy Sather, Sr. and Rodney Sather; and numerous extended family and friends.
