Margaret Lithgow Smith

Private services will be held at a later date for Margaret Lithgow Smith, 102, of Three Rivers. She died on Dec. 24.

She was born on May 6, 1901 in Clinton, Mass. She was an accomplished pianist and was organist at St. Marks Episcopal Church. In 1981 she sprouted wings to be closer to family residing in Bellevue, Wash., Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Three Rivers and Monterey.

She is survived by her daughters, Marion McCollester of Three Rivers and Joan Cameron and Robert of Bellevue, Wash.; six grandchildren, Mrs. Beth Stratton of Carmel Valley, Calif., Peter McCollester of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Michael McCollester of Destin, Fla., Mrs. Margaret Dunn of Monterey, James Cameron of Redmond, Wash. and Heather Cameron of Seattle, Wash.; several great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Ruth Wheeler of Fitchburg, Mass.

Arrangements are under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
