Tulare offers an ‘outlet’ for creative youth
Tulare Outlets display local students’ artwork during back to school shopping days leading up to the start of school
TULARE – With school fast approaching for Central Valley students, Tulare Outlets celebrated the last days of summer with an All About Art Fest on Aug. 3.
In partnership with local Boys & Girls Clubs and the City of Tulare’s Summer Camp, the Outlets displayed art created by youth attending these programs for families and visitors to enjoy.
“We know a lot of families are shopping for back to school,” said Lee Brehm, Tulare Outlets General Manager, “So we wanted to partner with a few different local organizations to showcase what kids have been working on this summer with their art and highlight what they can look forward to with the upcoming fair.”
As Tulare Outlets is a premiere sponsor of the local fair, discounted Tulare County Fair tickets and unlimited ride wristbands are also available for purchase in the Tulare Outlets Management Office through Sept. 5.
“We have exciting things happening here at Tulare Outlets, especially fun activities for families to enjoy, but we have a lot to offer in savings as well while kids head back to school,” added Brehm.
Tulare Outlets is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. The center is located at 1407 Retherford St. in Tulare, Calif.
