Barrel House Brewing welcomes public to anniversary celebration this Saturday beginning at 4 p.m.
VISALIA – BarrelHouse plunged forward into Visalia’s east downtown and led the way for others to follow.
This Saturday, the brewery trailblazers are celebrating their second year in Visalia. Located on East Main, the Barrel House team turned a 90-year-old building on a once quiet side of downtown into a craft beer oasis for thousands of patrons from all over the Central Valley to enjoy, Barrel House said in a statement.
BarrelHouse noted in their statement that the celebration begins at 4 p.m. and goes until close. Glen Delpit & The Subterraneans and Run4Cover will be rocking the stage, Balisong and Kerribb Flava will be serving their tasty creations, and the ever-popular Brewers Challenge is always a crowd favorite. They’ll also be pouring 20 unique beers including Souritas and Craft Beer Cocktails.
“You can always count on fun competitions, prizes and more at BarrelHouse anniversary celebrations. Get here early, seating is limited and traffic will be metered at the door. This is a 21-and-over event and no dogs allowed,” The statement noted.
In their two years, Barrel House has seen the opening of a worthwhile coffee shop across the street, Component Coffee Lab, a restaurant and bar next door in Stacked, and saw Planning Mill fill in their new digs the next street over.

Additionally, since the brewhouse first fired up, the BarrelHouse team has been crafting an impressive line-up of barrel-aged beers. Housed nearby in a dedicated Barrel Facility across the creek from their main brewery, you’ll find rare sour and wild ales referred to as their Salvaje de Robles (Wild of the Oak) Series and Reservado de Robles (Reserve of the Oak) Series for their non-sour barrel-aged beers. These limited releases are available in their taprooms and at fine craft beer accounts throughout their distribution network.
