Deputies search for man who shot his wife
Police say Randy Scroggins shot his wife in the shoulder May 22 on Farmersville Blvd.
FARMERSVILLE – The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they believe shot his wife during a domestic argument in Farmersville.
At around 4:30 p.m. on May 22, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1100 block of S. Farmersville Blvd. for a report of a gunshot wound. Deputies found a woman who said her husband, 43-year-old Randy Scroggins, had shot her in the shoulder before running into a nearby orchard.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office Helicopter and Farmersville Police officers assisted deputies with the search for Scoggins. The orchards around the home have been cleared, but Scroggins was not found.
