July 3 – Tulare Noon Kiwanis’ 3rd of July Fireworks Show from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Tulare County Fairgrounds, 215 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Tulare. $5 admission at the gate, kids 5 and under are free. Food, entertainment, and fireworks.
July 3 – Kiwanis of Woodlake’s July 3rd Blast from 6 to 9 p.m. at Woodlake City Park. Family fun, fireworks, kids’ zone, music and food. Free admission.

July 4 – Independence Day Fireworks Community Festival at Groppetti Stadium, 1414 N. McAuliff St. in Visalia, from 2 to 10 p.m. Hot dog eating contest, dunk tank, pool time, food vendors and more. July 4 – The Exeter Lion’s Club presents the 73rd Annual Free Fireworks Show at dusk in Exeter Lions Stadium located on east Rocky Hill Drive in Exeter.
July 6 – Opening reception for Tristan Luke’s The Grand Americana art exhibition from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Creative Center, Jon Ginsburg Gallery, 410 E. Race Ave. in Visalia. Free food and live music. The exhibit will run through Aug. 24. For more information, go to thecreativecenter-visalia.org.

July 7 – City of Visalia’s Indoor Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Visalia Convention Center. An indoor sale with heating/air conditioning and plenty of free parking. Vendors should go to the online guidelines and application.

July 14 – 9th annual Hot Dog Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Historical Museum, 42268 Sierra Dr. in Three Rivers.
