New Farm and Craft Market in Exeter starts Sunday, May 20 at noon
EXETER – The Courthouse Gallery and Museum is starting up a Farm and Craft Market on Sunday, May 20 from noon to 4 p.m. Located at the Exeter Court House Gallery and Museum at 125 South B Street, the market will be open to growers and creators of arts and crafts who are interested in selling their goods.
This late season farm market is intended to provide fresh produce and agricultural products to residents of the Exeter area. In addition to farm produce, the gallery and museum have opened the market to vendors of arts and crafts from the area. Not only Exeter but the surrounding communities have a tapestry of creative minds putting their hands to work designing all type of art. Booth spaces will be available to sell arts, crafts and produce for only $15.
In addition to the Farm and Crafts Market, the gallery will have afternoon entertainment from 1 to 4 p.m. This week, the band, Fritz and the Cats, with Rudy Parris, will be performing, providing great musical entertainment for the crowd.
The Farm and Craft Market will take place every Sunday afternoon from May 20 through July 1, with a jazz group performing either at Joyner Park or the Courthouse Gallery. The Market is open to the public with free admission, as is the Courthouse gallery and Museum. While you are there, visit the Courthouse Gallery to enjoy an exhibition of the art of Manuel Abad and George Takamoto.
