June 1 – Artist reception for Kirk Cruz from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Jon Ginsburg Gallery, 410 E. Race Ave. in Visalia. “Scribblescapes” features Cruz’s most recent work in marker. Register at eventbrite.com. Also on display are works by process-driven artists from The Creative Center. Exhibit will display from May 11 to June 27.

June 1 – Tree to Table: A Dinner in the Groves at Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch, with hors d’oeuvres, wine and wagon ride tour at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 at mckellarfamilyfarms.com. Proceeds from this event will benefit McKellar Family Farms, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

June 1 – Tacos & Tributes (formerly Blues, Brews & BBQ) in downtown Visalia at the Garden Street Plaza from 6 to 10 p.m. Live music and dancing. Free event with cold beverages and fresh tacos for purchase. Proceeds benefit Visalia Emergency Aid.

June 1 – Opening Reception for the “Faces and Figures” art league exhibit at Arts Visalia, 214 E. Oak Ave. in Visalia, from 6 to 8 p.m. Exhibit will run from May 30 to June 29, noon to 5:30 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays. Free admission. June 5 – Ian Anderson presents Jethro Tull, the Grammy Award-winning British rock group will perform live at the Fox Theatre in Visalia from 7:30 to 10 p.m. in their 50th anniversary tour. Tickets are $55-100 at ticketfly.com.

June 6 – PJ Masks Live: Time to Be a Hero is a super-heroic, brand new live show from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fox Theatre in Visalia. Watch Catboy, Owlette and Gekko as they try to save the day from their sneaky villains – Romeo, Night Ninja and Luna Girl! Tickets are $29-$110 at ticketfly.com.

June 8 – United Way of Tulare County’s Power of the Purse from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Visalia Convention Center. June 10 – The stand-up comedian Brian Regan will take the stage at the Fox Theatre in Visalia at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45-$55 at ticketfly.com.

June 14 – The 65th Annual Awards will recognize businesses that consistently impact and improve the community, a long standing tradition at The Visalia Chamber of Commerce. The celebration from 5:30 to 9 p.m. is located at the Visalia Convention Center. Tickets range from $75 to $3,000 at eventbrite.com.

June 16 – Dive-In Movies, the Visalia Parks & Rec’s swimming and outdoor movie sensation of summer, will screen “Thor Ragnarok” at the Mt. Whitney High School pool, 900 S. Conyer St. in Visalia.
