Saturday, Aug. 17
In the 300 block of N. Orange St., officers responded to a report of a fight in progress. Officers arrived on scene and found a victim of battery. This case is still under investigation.
Sunday, Aug. 18
Officers arrested Zachary Green on charges of felony evasion. Green was arrested, cited and released without further incident.
Thursday, Aug. 22
At 1:15 p.m. at Exeter Union High School, an officer with was dispatched regarding an adult student who was in possession of two knives. Victor Martinez, 18, was taken into custody after being found on school campus with two pocket knives. He was later cited out and is pending court.

Wednesday, Aug. 14
At 4:35 p.m. in the 100 block of N. Westwood, officers were dispatched for a report of a fight in progress. The reporting person advised that Richard Katz had struck him in the head with a can of bug spray after a heated argument. The victim had a large laceration on the left side of his head. Medical personal responded to the scene and treated the victim, but he refused any further medical treatment. Officers arrested Richard at the scene and transported him to the Kaweah Delta Hospital for a jail clearance prior to booking at the Main Jail.
Thursday, Aug. 15
At 6:04 p.m. in the Olivewood Shopping Center, the reporting person on a previous reckless driver call, called back to advise he located the vehicle, which was now in the drive through at McDonald’s. Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle, which drove recklessly through the crowded parking lot and onto Hermosa. The vehicle then pulled into the rear parking lot of the shopping center. The driver Fabian Lemus Lopez of Lindsay resisted officers by force and threatened to kill officers. He was found to be driving while intoxicated and with a BAC over .08%. He was also unlicensed and in possession of marijuana and cocaine. Lopez was transported to the police department for processing prior to being medically cleared at Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia and lodged at the Visalia Main Jail
Friday, Aug. 16
At 9 a.m. in the 900 block of W. Mariposa, officers were dispatched regarding a report of a verbal disturbance. Officers contacted Javier Guerrero who was found to have two active warrants. Guerrero was arrested and later released on a signed promise to appear.
At 7:50 p.m. in the 900 block of W. Fresno St., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. Contacted was Jamie Brannum who was wanted for domestic violence and vandalism. Also contacted was Raul Leonardo Lopez who was found to have an active misdemeanor with a bail of $30,000. Both subjects were arrested, transported to the police department for processing and later booked at Porterville Sub Station.
Monday, Aug. 19
At 2:18 p.m. in the area of Mirage and Honolulu, officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver, Nicholas Gonzalez of Strathmore, was found to be driving on a suspended license and in possession of a switch blade knife. The passenger, Ana Figueroa of Strathmore, was found to have an active misdemeanor warrant. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the police department where they were later released on a signed promise to appear.
Tuesday, Aug. 20
At 9:30 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Westwood Ave., officers were dispatched for a report of two tenants causing a disturbance in the apartment manager’s office. The manager advised that two tenants, a male subject and Randi Behrends were upset about being evicted and were causing a disturbance. Both subjects were contacted and Behrends was found to have an active misdemeanor warrant with a bail of $10,000. She was arrested, transported to the police department and later released on a signed promise to appear.
