Woodlake Planning Commission holds Jan. 16 public hearing
The Woodlake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 16 to discuss the redesigation of Twilight Park, located at the southeast corner of Ropes Avenue and Road 204.
Specifically, the hearing will discuss a redesignation of 27.72 acres of land owned by U.S. Tower/Wireless Eye from the “urban reserve” designation to the “industrial” designation and a reclassification of this same acreage from the RSC (Resource, School and Conservation) district to the ML (light manufacturing) district. The he properties are located just west of Antelope Creek and generally north of the easterly extension of Avenue 340. The territory to be reclassified encompasses two parcels of land – APN 060-170-32 (5 acres) and APN 060-170-89 (22.72 acres). The subject properties currently contain an outdoor entertainment stage, an outdoor seating area, an access road and a parking lot that is composed of decomposed granite.
The staff report on this planning matter is available to the public at least three days prior to the public hearing. These documents can be picked up at the Woodlake City Hall during normal working hours.
The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Jan. 16 at Woodlake City Hall, 350 North Valencia Blvd. in Woodlake.
