Woodlake to play for Valley
The Woodlake Tigers will be playing for a Valley Championship on Thursday, Nov. 15 in Woodlake. The Tigers defeated the Sierra Chieftians 25-23, 25-18 and 25-14.
The No. 1 seeded Tigers will face the No. 6 Kingsburg Vikings for the division IV Valley Title.
The Vikings took down the No. 3 seed Sierra Pacific Golden Bears in the quarterfinals and then took out No. 7 Immanuel Eagles. On the year the Vikings are 20-13 and finished in third place in the Central Sequoia League.
The Vikings and Tigers have already faced eachother this year with the Tigers winning it 3-1 on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
The Valley Championship game will be held in Woodlake with the tip off time set for 7 p.m.
