Spartans-Cardinals end season

Strathmore falls to Taft in the first round of the playoffs. It was a hard fought battle but in the end it was Taft coming out on top. Taft would take the first set 25-22 before the Spartans would bounce back to take the second set 25-20. The Wildcats would settle down and take the last two sets 35-33 and 25-19 to advance in the playoffs.

The Spartans had an outstanding game from several players. Kayla Holloway led the way with 24 kills while Coby Duffin had 14. Hailey Wilson would contribute with 3 aces for the Spartans.

The Lindsay Cardinals would also see their season end as the Cardinals lost to Bakersfield Christian 25-22, 25-20 and 25-23 in the Playoffs. Lindsay the No. 15 seed almost pulled off the upset over No. 2 Eagles.
