Exeter is in full bloom
Exeter Chamber of Commerce presents its annual garden walk on Saturday, May 11
EXETER – The Exeter Chamber of Commerce is holding its 16th annual Full Bloom Garden Walk from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 11 in Exeter. Come and explore five beautiful, and unique private gardens. Then enjoy some refreshments hosted by Exeter’s very own By the Water Tower Antiques, 141 S. B St. Each year hundreds walk through various area gardens enjoying the sights, sounds, smell of local flora and fauna.
The gardens featured this year are at the homes of Randy and Mary Kay Cox, Steve Cox, and Amalia Betancourt, Sherry Forcum, Luis Gonzalez, and Mustard Seed Acre founders Darian and Summer Bourez. Returning this year is Tulare/ Kings Master Gardeners presents “Home Gardening Festival” and will be on site at one of the lovely gardens. The Master Gardeners will offer tips on: learning what to plant and how to grow it; conserve and use water wisely; landscape “Central Valley Style;” pest management in your home garden.
Tickets are $20 in advance and are available at the Exeter Chamber of Commerce, 101 W. Pine St., and By the Water Tower Antiques, 141 S. B St. in Exeter. For more information call 559-592-2919. Tickets will be available the day of the event for $25 at By the Water Tower Antiques.
