Woodlake High School presents “Much Ado About Nothing” set in the 1950s
WOODLAKE – Woodlake High School’s theater company is taking classic Shakespeare and giving it a retro reduex.
Instead of a sprawling estate off the coast of Sicily, WHS’ spring production of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” is set in the 1950s with songs and dances that will have you tapping your toes and singing along. The production will run May 17, 18 and 19, at the WHS Performing Arts Building. All performances begin at 7 p.m. There will be a costume contest at Intermission each night, so get out your saddle oxfords and poodle skirts and join in the ’50s fun!
Admission prices: adults $5, senior citizens and military $3, students $1.
