New FHCN provider brings experience from southern hemisphere

Catalina Castillo Pedraza joins Family HealthCare Network in Visalia after earning MD in Colombia and residency at University of Miami

VISALIA – When Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) is looking a for a doctor, distance does not matter. They’ll accept any docs with the chops to hack it in the Valley which is illustrated by their latest provider hire, Catalina Castillo Pedraza, MD. 

Pedraza is now offering Pediatric services in the community of Visalia. 

Dr. Pedraza completed her residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital through the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Known for their research among other feats staff, students and faculty are engaging in more than 2,000 ongoing projects, Miller School faculty receive approximately $260 million annually from public and private agencies to conduct a broad spectrum of nationally and internationally recognized research, build state-of-the-art facilities, and support graduate students and postdoctoral trainees.

She also received her doctor of medicine from Universidad del Rosario School of Medicine in Bogotá, Colombia.

Dr. Pedraza is accepting patients at FHCN’s Visalia-School Health Center, located at 401 E. School Avenue.
