Lindsay Awards: Home Stretch

Dr. Steve Lege of Pro-PT at the Lindsay Wellness Center has been awarded the 2012 Business of the Year by the Lindsay Chamber of Commerce.

With business success in Tulare, Visalia and Porterville, they decided to expand and open a 4th business in Lindsay. They not only opened a new business and started seeing patients, but they literally did so in a building that was not even built yet.

Owners, Todd Martin and Ronnie Eynaud together own Pro-PT but Dr. Steve Lege is the site physical therapist and the man in charge.

Dr. Lege brings compassion and expertise of patient rehabilitation and has grown his practice from the beginning of seeing just 10 patients a week to more than 100 patients a week within a year. Dr. Lege has not been shy with his community services. He has joined the Lindsay Kiwanis club and has been instrumental in keeping Lindsay High School athletes healthy.

Their busy patient flow, has allowed them to increase their staffing and offer more jobs at the Lindsay office.

“It is nice to have access to the wellness center and have that transition from classes and the gym in the same building,” said Dr. Steve Lege.

Since Pro-PT has opened up in Lindsay, people of Lindsay and neighboring communities have found it has been much easier to get physical therapy than ever before. “It beats going to Exeter or even Porterville,” said Mary Clemens of Lindsay. “The City bus takes me to the Wellness Center.”

With city transit taking patients to the Wellness Center it has made it easy for 93 year old Mary. “It just shows the community is behind us,” said Dr. Lege.
