FHCN COO named as Clinic Leader
The Clinic Leadership Institute Emerging Leaders Center for Health Professions University of California, San Francisco has selected Family HealthCare Network’s Chief Operations Officer, Norma Verduzco, to take part in the sixth cohort of Clinic Leadership Institute Emerging Leaders.
“As we shift towards implementation of the Affordable Care Act, it will be crucial to have the right systems, processes and personnel in place to ensure patients continue to receive the best care and experience within our health centers,” said Norma.
“The Clinic Leadership Institute program will cultivate and strengthen my leadership, strategic thinking and decision making skills. I am honored to have been selected and look forward to this new leadership journey in my professional career.”
The Clinic Leadership Institute (CLI) prepares emerging leaders of California community clinics and health centers to be effective and passionate agents of change. Their goal is to build the next generation of safety net providers and leaders.
Participants go through an 18-month, part-time program to build and expand their skills in areas such as decision-making, financial management and strategic management. CLI is a signature project with a mission to improve the lives of Californians, particularly underserved populations by making health care accessible, effective and affordable.
