Lifestyle Center continues free wellness series on Nov. 8
The Lifestyle Center, the only medically-based fitness facility in Visalia, continues its year-long wellness series on Thursday, Nov. 8, to help people stay healthy.
The November meeting will focus on adjustment to loss with speaker Michael Mayo, Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Kaweah Delta.
All meetings have been hosted by members of The Lifestyle Center’s Medical Advisory Committee and begins at 6 p.m. at The Lifestyle Center, 5105 W. Cypress Ave.
The Lifestyle Center, a division of Kaweah Delta Health Care District, is a medically-based fitness and rehabilitation facility staffed with certified professionals. TRMC holds annual Festival of Trees Nov. 16
The Tulare Hospital Foundation’s annual winter gala, Festival of Trees is Friday, Nov. 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Heritage Complex in Tulare.
In addition to a unique silent auction, including items such as a Taylor Swift autographed guitar, and tour of the State Capital with Assembly Woman, Connie Conway, the event highlight is the live auction. Ten beautiful and surprising Christmas trees, donated and decorated by local business and individuals will be auctioned after guests have enjoyed an exquisite meal prepared by executive chefs from Southern California.
Event co-chairs, Daniel Enriquez, Hazel’s Kitchen and Mary Jane Barwick, along with their committee have designed an extraordinary event to welcome the winter holidays.
Individual admission is $100. Table host packages including reserved tables of eight beginning at $1,000. Tickets are not available at the door.
