Kindergarten registration begins Feb. 6 in Exeter
Exeter Public Schools will begin their kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Lincoln and Rocky Hill elementary schools will both be registering new kindergartners at the Exeter Unified School District office, located at 215 N. Crespi Ave. in Exeter. Parents are asked to enter from the north side of the parking lot.
In order to register for kindergarten, children must turn 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2018 and transitional kindergarten may be available for students who turn 5 years old between Sept. 2 and Dec. 2, 2018. Parents must bring their child’s birth certificate, complete immunization records including T.B. test and proof of Exeter residency (such as a utility bill, mortgage or rental agreement) at the time of registration. Students do not need to attend registration. At registration, parents will be given a time for their student to attend the Kindergarten Round-Up, an assessment/activity time held in March.
