Exeter Police Dept. to hold 2nd ‘Coffee with a Cop’ on Feb. 1 at Wildflower Cafe

EXETER – If you haven’t had a chance to meet Exeter’s new police chief and you’re among the 83% of American adults that drink coffee every morning, you’ll have an opportunity to do both next week.

The Exeter Police Department will hold its second Coffee with a Cop event from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 at Wildflower Cafe, 121 S. E St. in Exeter. Interim chief Jeff McIntosh started the community engagement at McDonald’s on Oct. 4 for National Coffee with a Cop Day. Chief John Hall has decided to continue the outreach and use his first event to introduce himself to the community. Hall, previously a captain with the Porterville Police Department, was sworn in as Exeter’s police chief on Jan. 9.
