Thursday, June 29
At 5:17 a.m. in the 500 block E. Honolulu Street, officers responded to a report of a fight in progress between a male and a female subject. Upon arrival, an officer observed 29-year-old Paula Murguia striking the victim. The man claimed the woman was his girlfriend and that she was highly intoxicated. Officers arrested Murguia who was ultimately booked at the Tulare County Pretrial facility.
Friday, June 30
At 1:46 a.m. at Hermosa and Highway 65, an officer initiated a traffic stop on a 2017 Maroon Kia Optima.  The driver, 26-year-old Andre Garza, was determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license.  Garza was placed into police custody and was later released on his written promise to appear.
Sunday, July 2
At 11:32 a.m. near Hermosa and Highway 65, officers were advised by the Sheriff’s deputies that a LoJack stolen vehicle tracker was active in the area. The Lindsay officer located a stolen red 2006 Dodge Charger in the area of Spruce and Highway 65. He conducted a felony traffic in the Chevron parking lot at 20370 Avenue 232. The driver of the stolen vehicle, 25-year-old Gonzalo Munoz, Jr., was later transported and booked into Porterville Sub-Station.
Monday, July 3
At 2:05 p.m. in the 200 block of E. Lindsay Street, officers searching for two strong armed robbery suspects from over the weekend arrested 24-year-old Matthew Gutierrez and 25-year-old Michael Ortiz without incident. Both were later transported and booked at the Porterville Sub-Station.
