Fireworks on sale in foothills area

foothills area – Beginning this week local charities will be opening up their fireworks booths in order to provide some bang to the holiday festivities.

Non-profit organizations register and set up these booths in Exeter, Farmersville, Lindsay and Woodlake, each year in order to raise money for projects in their communities. If you are looking to support a certain local charity when purchasing your fireworks this year, below there is a list of stand locations and charities running it.

Exeter

Exeter fireworks booths are allowed to begin sales of safe and sane fireworks at noon on June 28 and can sell them through 11 p.m. on July 4. Booths may be open anytime from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 2-4. Fireworks booths in Exeter are as followed:

• Abundant Life Tabernacle, 1121 W. Visalia Rd.

• Exeter Wrestling Club, 426 N. Kaweah Ave.

• Exeter High School Band Boosters, 505 Rocky Hill Dr.

• Exeter Sportsmen’s Association, 324 N Kaweah Ave.

Farmersville

Farmersville fireworks booths are allowed to begin sales of safe and sane fireworks at noon on June 28 and can sell them through 11 p.m. on July 4. Booths may be open anytime from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 2-4. Fireworks booths in Farmersville are as followed:

• Pentecostal Church of God, 554 N. Farmersville Blvd.

• Knights of Columbus, 1710 N. Farmersville Blvd.

• Farmersville Kiwanis, 1376 N. Farmersville Blvd.

• Youth Baseball League, 207 N. Farmersville Blvd.

Lindsay

Lindsay fireworks stands are allowed to begin sales of safe and sane fireworks at 9 a.m. on July 1 and can be sold through 11 p.m. on July 4. Booths may be open anytime from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 2-4. Fireworks booths in Lindsay are as follows:

• La Puerta Abierta Church, 280 N. Mirage St.

• Lindsay Cultural Arts Council Museum, Olivewood Shopping Center on Highway 65

• Royal Rangers, 370 W. Hermosa St.

Woodlake

Woodlake fireworks stands are allowed to begin sales of safe and sane fireworks at 8 a.m. on July 1 and can be sold through midnight on July 4. Booths may be open anytime from 8 a.m. to midnight on July 2-4. Fireworks booths in Woodlake are as follows:

• New Life Center, 250 E. Antelope Ave.

• Woodlake High School Girls Soccer, 300 W. Naranjo

• Knights of Columbus, 200 N. Valencia Blvd.

Tulare County

• SUHS Alumni Association, 22825 Ave. 196, Strathmore

• Football Alliance Inc., northeast corner of Avenue 196 and Highway 65, Strathmore

• Victory Outreach, 20370 Ave. 232, Lindsay

• Jesus Assembly-Woodville, 1577 W. Visalia Rd., Exeter
