Lindsay Awards: A One Woman Show
Answering to a board of directors, a director and clients is a hard job for anyone. But when you are the only full-time employee of an organization, it often seems overwhelming.
That is, unless you are Yuni Loya.
Loya was named Lindsay’s 2012 Employee of the Year for making “doing everything” seem effortless, like “it was nothing.” Loya has a variety of responsibilities from secretary tasks to the dirty work of setting up and cleaning up after events. Loya is also responsible for handling all marketing materials to make sure information about events, programs and city policies are getting out to the business community.

“With it being a Chamber event I really did not think I could receive the award,” said Yuni Loya.
Loya has been with the Chamber for almost six years. She enjoys her job and loves serving the people of Lindsay behind the scenes.
Loya said she is humbled by the selection as the 2012 Employee of the Year after spending the last six years preparing awards for all of the deserving community members who make Lindsay a great City to promote and market.
